This action relates to cancelling a Shopify order that has not yet been dispatched.
Order cancellation requires steps on both Ochre and Shopify - refunds cannot be issued directly from Ochre on a Shopify Order.
We strongly recommend cancelling first on Ochre and then Shopify to ensure that fulfilment is halted as soon as possible. In order to do this:
- Find the order on Ochre, navigate to the order detail page, and verify that no items have been shipped from the order.
Check if any shipments for the order have been created. If they have, you will need to cancel them first.
a) Within the white shipment box at the bottom of the page click the shipment ID 'Shipment 0000000'
b) On the shipment page go to Actions > Cancel. The cancellation will be requested.
c) If successful, the shipment will be marked as cancelled- In the actions menu on the top right of the order, select ‘Cancel’. Select ‘Whole Order’ and submit. This will cancel the order as well as any related shipments.
- Navigate to Shopify and also cancel the order there, issuing a refund as needed.
