For Warehouses supporting a hold feature, you can place one or more Shipments on hold as follows.
- Navigate to the order in Ochre Admin and check the status of the order’s shipments. In order to be held, the shipment must not have been dispatched yet.
- Click on the shipment pane to navigate to the shipment page
- Click the Actions button to show the actions menu and select ‘Hold’.
- The Shipment status will be updated to ‘Hold Requested’ and the shipment will be updated at the warehouse in the background.
- Once we receive confirmation from the warehouse, the Shipment status will be updated to ‘On Hold’.
- Repeat the above steps for all shipments on the order.
When the Order is ready for dispatch, you can ‘unhold’ the order. To do this:
- Navigate to the order in Ochre Admin and locate any shipments with an ‘On Hold’ status.
- Click on the shipment card to navigate to the shipment page.
- Click the Actions button to show the actions menu and select ‘Unhold’.
- The Shipment status will be updated to ‘Unhold Requested’ and the shipment will be updated at the warehouse in the background.
- Once we receive confirmation from the warehouse, the shipment status will be updated to ‘New’.
- Repeat the above steps for all shipments on the order.
For warehouses that do not support hold, these actions will not be available in Ochre Admin.
