Overview
When managing a Shopify Store via Ochre, the entire catalogue for the store will be continuously imported and synced within Ochre. This makes it possible to:
- Connect each Shopify product / variant to SKUs held in your Ochre-connected warehouses;
- Manage other essential catalogue metadata required for fulfilment and other Ochre-specific features.
Generally speaking, a ‘Product’ in Shopify will map to a product/format pair in Ochre. Variants are represented much in the same way on both apps.
To manually sync catalogue from Shopify, go to the Products listing in Ochre and click ‘Sync Catalogue from Shopify’. This action will then complete in the background, and generally takes a minute or two to process, depending on the size of your catalogue.
After this point, your catalogue will automatically update (with any new products or updates to existing products) every six hours. If you want to update your catalogue between automatic updates for any reason, the manual process can still be used.
