Bandcamp Migration

If you log into Ochre you should now see your Bandcamp Stores listed in your account. Please use this time before launch to review the product information and ensure that the information is correct. Pay particular attention to the release dates of products and the format types. We have added information to our helpdesk about managing product catalogues in Ochre.

We will be pausing shipping for Bandcamp from tomorrow until migration is complete to ensure that stock levels and orders are migrated in a controlled and consistent manner.

On the day of your migration we will turn on order sync and orders will begin to be imported into Ochre. By default we will import all unshipped orders from your Bandcamp account created in the last 6 months. If you foresee any issues with this import start date please let us know ASAP so we can work with you to find a solution that will not lead to any double shipments or missed orders.

We will not restart shipping Bandcamp orders until we receive confirmation that you are happy that the orders in your account are ingested correctly.

We will default your Bandcamp orders to untracked shipping services. If you wish to change this to tracked, please let us know and we can configure this for you.

The Bandcamp integration in Ochre gives you access to view and manage your shipments, inventory and returns. We have added helpdesk documentation with information about managing Bandcamp Orders in Ochre, but please also arrange an onboarding call with the operations team to familiarise yourself with these new tools. To arrange this, email [e-mail] and we will arrange a time with you.

Please be aware that Bandcamp bundles will not be supported until later in the year. Please remove these from sale in Bandcamp. If you have any outstanding sales that need to be dispatched please let the operations team know and we will work with you to import these and get them shipped.

Updated Milton Keynes shipping pricing inclusive of packaging and postage will be shared separately.

Additional Information For Ochre Stores

This will not mean any operational changes for any Ochre stores. However the new billing schedules will be implemented from this point. The postage pricing on your store now reflects the postage and packaging. You may wish to consider reducing your margins accordingly.

We suggest that a 80p reduction in pricing overall will give you around the same pricing and margin as was in place previously.
